Recipes for gas grill cooking are fun to experiment with but there are some amazing gas grill cooking recipes out there to use! In this document I’m going to give you two of my most basic gas grill cooking recipes. They are pretty simple and packed with flavor.
Honey Barbecue Chicken:
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
12 tablespoons barbecue sauce
6 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon red pepper
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Boil the chicken in hot water for a few minutes before placing on the grill.
2. Combine the barbecue ingredients in a medium sized bowl
3. Arrange the chicken breasts on the grill over medium heat. Baste them with barbecue sauce mixture as desired. Turn once while cooking and cook for four to five minutes on each side. Feel free to add more sauce to the plate once they’re finished.
Lemon Pepper Chicken Breasts w/ thyme marinade recipe:
3 whole boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 C lemon juice
1 T salt
1 T pepper
1/2 C extra virgin olive oil
1 T thyme
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 ts grated lemon zest
In a medium bowl whisk the lemon juice, pepper and salt ingredients. Add the olive oil slowly while whisking until the mixture is emulsified.
Now place waxed cooking paper above and below the chicken and pound to 1/4 inch before grilling using a meat pounder or rolling pin.
To marinade, open a large zip lock bag and poor the marinate in with the chicken. Set the bag in the refrigerator for thirty minutes.
Now in a small bowl, mix the thyme, garlic, and lemon zest together.
Place the chicken on an oiled gas grill, cooking over medium heat for about 6 minutes, 3 minutes each side. Remove chicken from gas grill after cooking and set on plate. Place a tablespoon of the thyme, clove & zest mixture on top of the chicken. Garnish with lemon slices and/or Thyme sprigs.
